STATISTICS & RESEARCH

Statistics and Analytical Studies department mainly collects, analyzes, and publishes the data at the Chamber. This department also provides the rules and conditions for product exportation from Lebanon and certifies their origins no matter to which field they belong. Only advanced software and programs are used in this department to make sure that all future correlated utilize will be routing in the good direction.

The main responsibilities of the department are:

  • Certify certificates of origin on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Prepare monthly reports related to the number of members registered at the Chamber and according to their different sectores and categories.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and annually balance sheet about the products that have been exported from the south of Lebanon and certified by the Chamber.
  • Generate lists of the exporters members names.
  • Conduct surveys and studies on different economic sectors in the region.
  • Offer adequate official records and data about all the sectors in Lebanon.
  • Make contact with other public and private divisions to obtain statistical data about all the sectors in Lebanon to be released later to members or researchers for an economical purpose.
